IBM Design Thinking is an iterative process employing unique and creative techniques in order understand your customers, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with our initial level of understanding. The objective is to involve users, designers, engineers, and business people in an integrated process, which can be applied to product, service or even re-imaging a process. It is a tool to imagine future states and to bring product, services and experiences to market in order to leap frog entrepreneurial innovation.

Eliane Tozman has over 15 years of experience working with product development at IBM. She has managed several teams in the product space, transforming existing products to net new from ideation to overseeing the successful launch into the marketplace. Eliane has given talks, published papers and participated as a panel judge for industry conferences across the US and Canada.
